Happy 1st of August! This has flown bye! And I love it, closer and closer to meeting baby!!! =D
Let's start my catch-up with Friday or should I say Fat Friday!
We began our day with a delish breakfast idea thanks to Mrs. Amanda who came up with the awesome Stuffed French Toast Recipe:
So after a super filling breakfast we hung around the house, cleaned up and later went out to run some errands. For lunch we had pizza and salad at a local pizza parlor.
After we headed home and took a much needed nap. Those ARE a must while pregnant. Well if you want to function right anyway. At about 6:30 we headed out for our awesome Hot Air Balloon Festival date! You have no idea how excited I get for things like this! I love hot air balloons!
And Then believe it or not, we ate again... Chicago Dogs baby! Couldn't say no to that!
Pretty isn't it?! We had such a good time! Everything about that night was so special! Later on they had a band playing fun music and at one point they played a slow song and we saw an old man ask an older lady to dance, and that totally made my heart melt. I'm not sure if it was the hormones or just the thought of that being David and I some day still so in love that made me tear up and cry. I looked at David and said "oh yea, don't worry I got fuzz in both of my eyes" hahaha as the tears rolled down. He hugged me and kissed me and when he let go he had a heart shaped tear mark on his shirt! ha
When we got home, Cosby had made a mess and ruined a couple things. We put him on time out but after a couple minutes I couldn't stand his puppy face and had to pick him up and hold him. He ended up falling asleep on me.
Saturday, David went to work, and I spent the day with my mom and Rudy. We went thrift store shopping, I found some adorable stuff for baby, and then we went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant called Casa De Soria. They have bomb chips and salsa =)
After hanging with the parentals I went over to my bestie's place and had a lazy day talking and laying on her couch.
On Sunday, David and I headed to Santa Barbara for a newborn photoshoot! My good friend since kindergarten had just given birth a week ago and decided she wanted me to do her new born photos! What an honor! I was so excited! Baby is so cute and fresh! ahhhh! I cannot wait for mine to get here! ;)
A few teasers from the shoot. What a sweet cute baby. Madeline Rose. I love her.
After the shoot we all went for some Presto Pasta (Italian food) It was such a fun time catching up.
Once we got home we tuned into the Olympics. David was having a blast mimicking all the girl gymnasts!
On Monday we headed up to Lancaster to pick up the rest of the bedroom set. We had a good time with his dad and step mom! It was nice and toasty that day!
Yesterday my family came over for dinner. ( They're church friends I grew up with but I consider them my family, they are ) We made Tortas (sandwiches) and watched The Olympics together. They came over with A TON of baby clothes for Noah and Ana B even made Noah his First Diaper Cake! =D so cute!

This of course would be David's plate. Yum! |

5 slices of whole wheat bread
2 egg whites
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup fat-free cream cheese

Directions:
1. Mix together cream cheese and 2 tbs strawberry jam
2. Cut bread in half vertically & fold over {like a sandwich} adding 1 tsp jam mixture in the center
3. Combine eggs, milk, apple pie spice, vanilla. Dip bread into mixture then transfer to skillet.
4. Cook on medium 2-3 minutes on each side.
5. Microwave 1/2 cup strawberry jam {syrup}
