Christmas 2017

The View from our driveway. That's David walking down and holding Benjamin
We moved into our new rental on November 17, 2017! It's a neat little farm house on an avocado ranch built in the 1940's. We have a neighboring house just feet from us and then the landlords live on the property as well. They are the sweetest of people! There's even a basketball court that they allow our boys to play in.
We got all our belongings from our storage unit and moved in. Took me about 3 and a half weeks to unpack all of the boxes. I finished putting the last of the boxes away when we got news of the Thomas Fire.

December 4 the Thomas fire began. We were evacuated 2 times during the fire. It was pretty ironic really, I finished unpacking and then we had to pack our car with our most important belongings, mainly documents , clothes and pictures. Both times we stayed with David's mom. It was one of the craziest things to experience . Thank God and the amazing team of fire fighters, nothing happened to our place but man did it get close. Too close for comfort anyway. Luckily it all blew over just a week and a half before Christmas. Decorations weren't much for obvious reasons but we did have a great Christmas .

Justin is our neighbor ( in the ninja turtle cape) he's just a year and a half older than Noah.

My mom in law and dad in law came the day before to celebrate =)

My dad and Jamie came for christmas eve and stayed the night

joking around while my sister snaps some very candid photos hahaha

went to visit my mom in her new little apartment . Very cute!

It was a great Christmas! I'd say the best so far! Seeing the smiles on the boys' faces was just the best present I could have.
