Weekend Fun!

This weekend was awesome! On Valentine's day David had to work so we got to celebrate on Friday. I was woken up to pretty pink and white flowers from David, along with Dove chocolates and my favorite bottle of wine. =) For dinner, we went to BJ's Restaurant where I got to finally enjoy a yummy margarita! I only had one and man you bet that's all I needed lol.
Noah was awesome, he slept in his carseat while we enjoyed our food and then woke up when we were all done.
I tell David to smile and this is what I get... ay...
I got my usual BBQ salad
And David got this huge BBQ pulled pork sandwich! Dang boy!
To top it all off we got a Pizookie for desert! YUM!!!

Afterwards, we walked around the town center with Noah, but then he got fussy so we headed home at around 8pm.

On Saturday I met up with my mom and we headed to Santa Barbara to take Noah to see his great Grandma! Oh she loved being able to hold him close and love on him! It was a good time!

Yesterday we finally got to take Noah to church for the first time ( I totally forgot to take some pics) but my gosh was he the talk of the town! Such a lady magnet! He did good during service but we did take him to the parent room so that he could eat and burp comfortably. The sermon was absolutely perfect for our first Sunday back with our new baby. It was about Raising Your Children Under God. My favorite verse from it was:

" Train children how to live right, and when they are old, they will not change." Proverbs 22:6

The key points were on Mentoring them:
  1. Mentally - "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs 1:7
  2. Physically- "Carefully walk a straight path, and all your ways will be secure. Do not lean to the right or to the left. Walk away from evil." Proverbs 4:26-27
  3. Spiritually- "All have sinned and are not good enough for God's glory, and all need to be made right with God by his grace, which is a free gift. They need to be made free from sin through Jesus Christ." Romans 3:23-24
  4. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength." the second command is this: "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." There are no commands more important than these. " Mark 12:30-31
After Church we went to visit my sister in law and her husband, man they loved seeing Noah! I think Noah got just a bit too comfortable because he ended up peeing on his uncle's pants!
We got home just in time to go for a nice little walk while the sun was going down. That easily put Noah to sleep for a few hours.

While he slept, I took advantage and cooked a healthy dinner.
Stuffed Bellpeppers. Here's what I stuffed them with:

-Boiled, shredded chircken
-Sliced Carrot
-Cilantro
-White rice
-Green Onions
-Chopped Bellpeppers (the tops of the bellpeppers I stuffed)

I sauteed the ingredients and then set the oven to 400 degrees. Stuffed the bellpeppers with the ingredients and topped them off with mozzerella cheese. Baked for 15 min and wala! Delish!

Well that's my weekend, Today Noah and I are enjoying the day at my mom's house. How was your weekend?
