Mother's Day 2018

Mother's Day 2018 was good! It always surprises me how when you're so excited for a special day or event, it comes, it happens and then it's over all too soon. Mother's day was good.

We went to church on Saturday night because I was helping out with taking pictures of the babies being dedicated during service and we thought it would be nice to have a mellow Sunday to celebrate Mother's Day.

Saturday

We are still attempting to leave Benjamin in the childcare at church. This time, he didn't even let me put him down to leave him in there, he began to cry from that very second. So I handed him off to David while I took pictures. He does still cry with David but at least not hysterically crying.
So that was Saturday.

Sunday

I had dyed my hair dark brown and it's already back to blonde from washing it....
I got to sleep in and woke up to 72 balloons all around me ! It was funny seeing the boys all go crazy playing with them.

This kid eats a pack of blueberries in one sitting

Noah said he had a surprise for me so I patiently waited to see what he was holding.
That smile is a gift enough. He's so tender my Noah.
This is the cutest card ever! Look at that Name writing skills ;) I love it!

David made me my breakfast, nothing fancy but I didn't have to make it so boom!
Afterwards we took our time getting ready and decided to go exploring.

I received a free coursage!

After we drove to Ojai to walk around and took the boys to the park. It was a lot of fun! On our way home we stopped by to get groceries and stuff to barbecue outside with.

We ate a yummy veggie burger with fries, chips and corn on the cob. Oh I also treated myself to some Magazines. =)

Yesterday I found this good read and could not stop laughing. 5 ways to avoid Mother's day dissappointment

I know some might read this part and roll their eyes and maybe think " what does she have to complain about". But I am human, and I do bum out. Just have a read at that post and enjoy how she writes and speaks her mind. I very much identify with this post! ;)

Since it's Mother's day, I wanted to throw it back to my pregnancies with my boys.

Noah about 21 weeks

Levi 22 weeks

Benjamin about 23 weeks

Pregnant with twins in 2014 before miscarrying.
I did enjoy Mother's day this year. Its fun with noah being 5, he gets excited to celebrate different events. I'm so thankful for my boys and all the love they show me. I'm so thankful to my husband who made me a mommy .

Oh! How could I have forgotten to mention the most precious Mother's day gift of all.....!!!! Baby Benjamin took his first steps on Mother's Day! Here he is exactly 14 Months old!
