Baby Benjamin's Nursery

Rug: TJ Maxx Clearance $39.00

Welcome to Baby Benjamin's nursery! This is my favorite room in the house! Its sweet vintage touch and simplistic design is so cozy and nostalgic! My idea for the "look" of his room was simple with a touch of bohemian/vintage if that makes sense? The room had so much character already without me having to add much to it which is why I love it!

Vintage wooden cabinet: $25.00 Craigslist

This is one of my favorite things in Benjamin's room. We found this sweet steal on Craigslist for $25.00! I gave her a nice paint job and this is what she looks like! I love how it came out and the vintage blue chippy look just goes so perfectly!

Vintage bunny: Thrifted for $1.99

The light blue on the inside of the door was me "testing " out what paint I wanted to use before I made my choice.

The alphabet decals was thrifted but it's from target.
mini crib: craigslist. Delta.

I can't seem to keep the boys out of this room. They too love being in here. The feeling is just something I can't explain. It feels good being in this room.
Another one of my favorite corners is this beautiful little built in cabinet with glass doors. I knew instantly that this would be our baby's room when I saw this little cabinet. And I knew I wanted to display little wooden toys and books in it the second we saw it.

Vintage toys thrifted.

the rocking chair was thrifted. An amazing find at $2.99! David scored this one! Thanks babe! I painted and reupholstered

Round mirrors from Target dollar section : $5.00 ea. Decals thrifted but from Target.

The changing table was free from Craigslist but its Ikea. Wire canvas baskets from Walmart.

This room has a fireplace in it. We've yet to use it but I plan on filling it with faux birch wood and removing the little gate as well.  I hung a big bohemian wall hanging I found at the Goodwill a year ago.

And this wall hanging is also thrifted but from Target.

That's it for baby Benjamin's room! Thanks David for all your help when it came to decorating or hanging things up for me. =) This space will forever have my heart.

30 Weeks! A look in Noah's room!

30 weeks down, 10 more to go! I say ten but I'm really thinking 7 more weeks to go. This kid is huge, I can feel he's going to be a monster... And I really think he'll be out by the full term mark! Which is A-ok with me!
I know I've said every week that this pregnancy has gone super fast, but now, I feel like ok, I'm ready to be done. This extra weight is not fun at all and making the simplest tasks like getting out of bed super hard. I'm not kidding when I say that as soon as the 37 week mark gets here, I'm doing everything in my power to get this kid out! Bring on the spicy foods, driving over speed bumps fast, long walks and of course the yummy passionate nights ;) heehee... get ready babe, I'm going to put you to good use! hahaha j/k

I love this picture. David reading to Noah. I love my boys!
Symptoms:
I've been having lots of pains now... I get the worst back pain, to the point where I can't stand straight and It makes me want to cry. I guess it's back labor (where the baby is positioned towards my back) and what I do is drop down on all fours and move my hips to position him differently. It actually works! I also got a horrible leg cramp the other night and my calve is still sore from it! Those usually happen when I've been on my feet all day. To add to all of this I've had 2 nosebleeds during the night in a week! ugh! No fun any more!

Movement?
You kidding me?! This cage fighter loves to punch and kick! The other day he was totally hicupping! It's the coolest thing ever! That's one thing I do love about being this pregnant, is feeling how much he moves all day long. =)

Stretch Marks?
Still just a few on the sides of my hips but that is all! Belly is clear! and the ones on my chest are almost gone! Thanks to rubbing Argan Oil on them!

Cravings:
Back to wanting lots of fruit, sweets, and I wish margaritas or wine.. ahhh

Belly Button: Innie / outie?
It's finally starting to pop out! It's squishy too! hahaha

HUGEEEEEEE.....

Mood:
Happy. Uncomfortable, but Happy. =-)

Wedding rings on/ off?
on!

Maternity Clothes?
Of course! I mean look at that belly, no way I can squeeze that and the butt into my normal pants right now! I also like shopping at Goodwill and getting large fitting shirts or sweaters. Hey why not, it works!

Croft n Borrow Large, knit sweater $2.99!
On Monday I went in for some lab work since my glucose test came back a little bit high. When I got there the nurse was a little confused as to why I was having to do the diabetes check because she said I was pretty normal. Oh well, I still had to do it. This time Not only did I have to drink that super sugary drink but I got poked 4x!!! 2 on each arm. And the duration of this lab work was 4 hours! We were there since 6:40 am till 11:ooam! And I had to go on an empty stomach. It sucked but I'm glad it's done and over with!
Ow.. poor me..
Ok So I told you all I would share some of what Noah's room looks like. =) It's not completely done, we still need a couple more things but for the most part it's complete. I cannot wait !

Bassinet from my neighbors!  Dresser, an amazing find on Craigslist $100!
