Easter 2019

Happy Easter from our family! I can't believe we're already in the middle of Spring and summer is almost here! Easter time is so much fun and it is definitely one of my top favorite holidays to celebrate! Our God is real, he is powerful and we are here because HE gave HIS one and only Son to die on that cross for us. All for us! He loves us so much that he sacrificed his very own. That's intense and unending love. But we are celebrating because Jesus rose from the grave!
I am blessed that I get to share the gospel with four of our very own and they will pass it down from generation to generation! All week we have been studying on Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and Noah (6) and Levi (3) are getting it. It's exciting to have their little minds working and figuring things out and why we do the things we do or believe in what we believe . I love it. So there is a picture David took of the boys and I in our Easter Sunday best! Noah dressed himself ;)

After church, we came home and I started cooking and prepping for David's mom and family to come over for lunch. I should say David actually grilled and I prepped. These are the boys' baskets with treats. I thought the baskets were so simple this year and I was surprised to see them entertained for a couple of hours after ! They really enjoyed all their treats!

Our Life in Pics

 Easter

This Easter was so good! It was extra special because the Sunday before, Noah participated in the Spring Choir at church with all the kids! I was so proud of him! Singing in front of a big crowd and smiling and having fun while doing so! It was super cute to see! He was so figditiy while up there! He kept pulling at his shirt and jumping =D

Grandma and Grandpa McDaniels came to visit for the day, Saturday the day before Easter. It was a lot of fun! They brought with them so many goodies for the kids! Even David and I got in on the treats! They gave David his birthday present ( a generator) and for me Holly got me the cutest cross bracelet! I love her style! The boys were given awesome Eater baskets filled with treats, books and money!
After hanging out with them in our home we went out to lunch at a Mexican restaurant and then went to go tour the new model homes for sell in town. Not buying anytime soon but its always good to keep an eye out on properties.

Sunday morning , The boys woke up to Easter Baskets that mommy and daddy made for them. ( sorry we don't do the whole make believe easter bunny things)
Happy Levi! I love that smile!
Noah woke up last, this is his sleepy smile =)

Easter at church in the parent room. Ben and his girl friend =)

Cute boys!

Right after church, we went to David's mom's house for a quick visit. She had Easter buckets for the boys, full of bubble guns, chalk and toys!

And then we met up with my mom for her to give the boys their  Easter tin Buckets! From there they asked to go with grandma so off they went and off David , Ben and I went for some much needed time to ourselves. They had a short visit so we didn't do much but we certainly appreciated it.

After picking Noah and Levi up, we headed home and the boys enjoyed playing with their new toys in the yard.

Visiting Great Grandma

A couple of Fridays ago, I took the boys to go visit great Grandma ( my grandmother) in Santa Barbara. We had a good time with her! We went to the fish pond which is so so beautiful. I grew up going to this park. It hasn't changed! Theres so many beautiful plants and trees to look at!

After the park we got McDonald's ate it out side and then we went to a Thrift store! It was a good day!We promised her a visit to the zoo soon so that's on our spring "to do list".

Beach Fun

Beach days in warm weather of course!

 Anniversary Date

David and I celebrated 11 years together on April 9th! Holy moly, 11 years have gone by since we first became boyfriend and girlfriend until now! Like how?!
We had such a good night thanks to our sweet friends Suzie and Jessie for watching all three boys! This was the first time Ben was left with anyone and he did amazing! We were gone for about five hours and picked them up at midnight. This was also our first date in about 3 years where I wasn't pregnant and we didn't have a baby with us. I got us tickets to see Circa Survive, a band David used to listen to a lot in high school. Of course we were at the very front, next to the speakers and it was amazing! I love going to shows with him!

After the concert, we walked on Main st. and got a slice of pizza. Yummy! It was nice to have uninterrupted alone time with my love. Wish we'd have this on a weekly basis, but for now this was awesome. I actually felt young, felt my age (27).

Home Life

This is what most of our days at home look like. Boys play outside all day, We usually go to the backyard for an hour. I water the trees and grass and we sit to cool off under the lemon tree. David was given a brand new BBQ for his birthday from his mom and stepdad, so he's been cooking us some hot dogs lately. One less meal I have to cook makes me happy.

Grocery Store photoshoots with Benjamin because why not.

Oh Ben and Bandit, Best buds for life.
And our neighbor kid Justin and Noah play together on a daily basis. I like him, because he likes my cooking and my lemonade and he always tells me our house is so clean.

The messiest kid while eating award goes to..... Benjamin!

Too Cute of a picture. He kept getting into everything while I was cooking, so I sat him on this stool and he stayed put .

I've been hacked, but I love it =)

My serious boy

That's us lately. I'm really trying to catch up on here. The days go so fast and I don't want to regret not sharing on here. David and I periodically look back at my different posts and its so satisfying to have to look back on all that we've done and all that we've accomplished.
