Levi's 3rd Birthday

My Dear boy,
You have been nothing but a light to our life! Your contagious smile and your hilarious character has brought so much joy into our lives. You as a three year old is the best thing ever! You are funny my boy! You are into super heroes, you love skate boarding, using your scooter to do stunts and you are fearless in everything you do! You are You and that's what we love about you!

The day before his actual birthday, David's dad and step mom came over to visit to wish Levi a happy Birthday. It was such a good day! They brought what seemed like a million gifts not just for levi but for all the boys! It was very special!
They even brought him cake and we sang happy birthday to him. We went out to eat Mexican food and had a great time catching up!

That night, David and I stayed up late decorating our little place for Levi so he could wake up to a party before church ;)

Sunday we enjoyed the morning with our birthday boy and had birthday pancakes and then went to church. We gifted Levi his very own scooter! Noah got his scooter for his 3rd birthday so it was Levi's turn to get his very own scooter. He was so happy!

After church we had Grace's graduation to go to. ( David's little sister) She was homeschooled all her life and graduated that Sunday. What a huge accomplishment to her and her
 mom!

Weekend Update (Oct.15-16th)

This past week, we found out the baby's Gender!
Ah! So exciting!

This weekend was another jam packed weekend! Those are the best! On Thursday I got a text from my good friend Victoria, who'm we met when she rear ended us when I was pregnant with Mr. Noah. 4 years ago! We found out she was a photographer and I told her I was too! Ever since, she's called me a few times to assist her with wedding photography and I love it! It had been a couple of years since I shot with her so when she asked me to go with her on Saturday I was thrilled! I was sick with the stomach flu the day before and was so weak on Saturday but I managed to be there and enjoy myself as well. I'll give a little Sneak peek

On the way to this location , I prayed that God has an out pour of blessing for our family. I prayed that I make more than I normally make assisting , I did, and I prayed for more things to come through to help us financially, and they are! I booked a wedding to photograph for the end of this month! And I am babysitting the kids I babysit every so often next week! Thank you God for always providing!
The wedding was amazing! It was at the Belmont El Encanto in Santa Barbara, CA. Such a luxurious location with a stunning ocean view! The bride was the easiest, funnest, most relaxed bride I have ever photographed! Some of these brides can be over the top but this one was so fun! The entire wedding party was fun! The guy's were non stop cracking jokes and fun to be around and even posed perfectly for us! Bravo!  There was champagne before the wedding began, a violinist and cello player during the ceremony, cocktail hour on the Terrace with the yummiest hors d'oeuvres. I didn't stay for the reception, I wasn't feeling 100%, but I did see the set up and it was so classy and perfect! A very well put together wedding.

That night, I got home by 7:40pm, David, I and the kids went to Ihop for some breakfast for dinner and called it a night. I was asleep by 9pm!

Sunday we went to church. We were happy to see David's brother there as well!
After church, we hurried over to the Disney store to get birthday presents for Miciah and Avram's birthday party. We headed over to Fillmore and had a blast at the amazing party! Suzie and Jessie did such an amazing job! The Theme was Carnival and it turned out great! She makes all the banners herself and It looked so good!

It was so much fun! What a great turn out! We all enjoyed ourselves!
We stayed for quite a long time, and enjoyed just chatting with their family after everyone had already gone home.
Afterwards, we drove around, in Valencia and I had planned all day to stop at Pickles, a sandwich deli, because when I photographed the wedding they had those there and I absolutely loved how yummy it was. We got there at 8:13, they close at 9 according to their website, and when we got there, there was a written out note on the door that said "sorry, today we will be closed by 8pm". I was devastated. As I mentioned before, it's been hard to eat something that 1. doesn't make me sick and 2. I really find enjoyable.
When I saw this, I had the biggest pregnant moment I've ever had a cried. Not a loud cry, but a teary can't stop crying cry. David felt so bad for me hahaha! He offered to pick some up for me the next day. He did, bless his sweet heart, but it ended up not being what I thought It would be. So that was a total fail. Poor man, he tries so hard to make me feel better  but sometimes, I'm just not having it. I blame my dissatisfaction on the baby. lol!

That was our weekend for ya!

Levi's 1st Year

Seriously,
It's so hard to blog lately. I should rephrase that, It's so hard to want to blog lately. Levi is so attached and so curious at this stage. He smacks his hand on anything he can touch, and this shiny lit up thing called a laptop is his favorite thing to lay his dirty little paws on.... Soooooo , the only time I am able to blog is night time when they fall asleep but that's also my "me time" "hubby time" "relax time" and "watch my favorite shows I can't watch in front of children time" , ya with me? I've been blogging for YEARS and I really just had the intention of keeping it as a online scrapbook/journal. But it has been hard keeping up with and I keep going back and forth with wanting it public and than private. For now, it is what it is and I really want to share Levi's bday with all of you. Thanks for the positive feedback! =D

Levi, Watching this makes me so emotional! I cannot believe a whole year has gone by already! You are so special to us, you make us so happy, you make us smile and you just love to love on us! We Love you baby ! Here's to many many more years!

This is 25

Sunday, September 13, I turned 25! It's insane! I can't believe I'm 25, married and have two kiddos! I love it! I am so blessed to have another year to remember and make good memories of! I want to thank my Lord savior for keeping me healthy, and for always providing me with everything I need. I'm a spoiled daughter of God!

The night before my birthday, our friends Suzie and Jessie decided to come over, take us out for a birthday dinner and they brought me flowers and a cake! That was so sweet of them! We had a good time at Marie Calender's just talking and joking! It's super hard being out all together because they have two kids and we have two so that was fun trying to contain all of them ;)

They insisted we get dessert.; Yummy!
The Cute flowers and cake they brought me ! Suzie knows how to make me feel special! Thank you doll!

The following morning I was awoken by a crying baby ready to feed lol. So I laid down with him and fed him and fell back asleep. Not going to lie, I was cranky and annoyed that David didn't let me sleep in but when I woke up again I saw why. He went out to get me Starbucks and flowers! 3 bouquets! One from each of my boys! Thank you loves! He also got me a beautiful sterling silver ring with an emerald on it (to symbolize Levi's birth stone) I love it but I'll have to send it back to get a different size. I love that he put thought into it! Thanks booboo!
Oops! Didn't even notice this sign until after noon! Thanks babe! Super cute!
How I feel about being 25.
The boy took me to eat Thai food at Rice by Mama. It's pretty good! It was a super hot day and of course the kids came with us, so it was a bit hard to enjoy. Levi's like me, we hate the heat!

Love that he loves Asian food!
his excited face lol
sweaty melting face mama and cute baby!
snap from the sis! Thanks doll!
my freebies
I also went to ulta and Sephora to get my free birthday gifts. Score! love these !

The day was pretty good. It was a quiet birthday but I truly enjoyed it. My dad gave me money for my birthday (thanks dad) and my mom and dad in law got me the cutest poncho last month (can't wait till it's cold to wear it!)

I'm excited to see what this new year and age brings for me. There's been plenty of downs in my life lately but I'm staying positive, focusing on my family and what's best for us and completely trusting in God for anything and everything.

My 24th Birthday

Last Saturday I turned 24 freaking years old! Can you say Crazy?! Every year that goes by I just can't believe it, I still feel 17! Time just likes to fly!
So although I don't feel any different being 24 I really did have a good birthday. It started out with David surprising me a day before with a BBQ at his mom's that they all planned out and did for me. My little sis in law made me a giant cupcake (pictured above, photo taken and edited by my MIL) The food was amazing! My favorite thing to eat over there is my Dad in law's bbq chicken and baked beans and that's what was on the menu!
So Friday, I had no idea what we were doing, I only knew that there was some sort of plan for dinner, so I got ready and waited. Impatiently waited, I'm horrible with letting a surprise stay a surprise, but I let it for the most part. ;) When the time FINALLY came to get in the car, I didn't stop asking questions heehee.. we ended up at David's mom's house of course and I walked in, went to the backyard and I saw huge red balloons the number 24!` I was so surprised! And David's mom was like "go out back there's someone waiting for you!" It was my bestfriend Suzie , her husband and babies! Yay! It was awesome!

David playing with their baby

Suzie & Susie. We're tight. ha

Silly selfies!
It was so sweet for my friends and family to think of me and plan this all out for me. I loved it! We later enjoyed the huge cupcake that my sis in law made and took plenty of bad pics! Some good in there too.

Lovely ain't it? Leave it to my husband to capture my "good side."

Coolest birthday cake ever!

Thank you again to David for the surprise and for his family for pulling it all off and to our friends for being there for me! Love you!

On Saturday, my actual birthday, we went out to lunch with my mom and stepdad. They took us to Islands, so yummy! It's a sit down restaurant that serves burgers and other American type foods but pretty nice! I love eating their teriyaki burger! It was fun!

Noah had a good time there! Being so silly coloring!

Loves of my life!

My mom, Noah and I
While we waited for our food, we were messing around with my mom's iphone because she had already done the 8.0 upgrade and we noticed it had the slomo video button, hahahaha I recorded her being silly and watched her face move back and forth in slow motion hahahha! It was so funny! We must've been the loudest table there! It was fun! Thank you mom and Rudy for the treat! My mom gave me a TJ Maxx giftcard, oh yea my fave! David insisted we go shopping after our lunch so we did ;) I didn't need to be persuaded.

After shopping we came home, relaxed a little and than went for an evening walk on a local trail we've been going to recently. We walked and talked in the dark and Noah fell asleep. It was nice! Afterwards, we decided to get takeout from Chili's, David recieved a $25 gift card and we decided to use it on my birthday. Can you believe all of this food came out 24 dollars?! And it was so good!
Love nights in with good food and some Netflix!
It was a good birthday! I'm super thankful that God has always blessed my life, even through the obstacles, he's always watching out for me. I'm thankful for these 24 years of life I've been given and excited for many more years to come!

A week before my birthday, David also surprised me by telling me we were going to be seeing Magic the band perform on the 17th! Turns out he was listening to Pandora and they announced a free concert in our city at the airport! I'll be blogging about that soon but how cool is that? With these financially tough times, it's amazing anything is free anymore and I just soak it all up and get what we can for  free! You bet we went and enjoyed ourselves to the max! Free chili's, free concert  what more could I want?! =)

Super Blessed!
