Weekend Update May 17-19 2019

Friday was spent doing our usual mile and a half walk around the park and then playing at the park/skate park. The boys ask to go to the park probably 40 times a day.  (insert eyeroll emoji)

I was super excited about it being Friday because David had surprised me with signing the kids up to be watched at church for 4 hours while we got to go on a date! He was being intentional and I felt it =)
So after the park, I spent the rest of the day attempting to do my hair. I want to go back to having a balayage so I got through with the first bleach sesh. Surprisingly it wasn't too hard with all four boys. They al kind of looked out for one another while mama walked around the house looking like a fool with foils in her hair lol.

So to be honest, David didn't specifically have a plan to our date, he knew we would eat but not sure where and that's kind of all he had in mind. So we agreed on one of our favorite restaurants Thai Peru. I love it there! The food is amazing but the best part of going there is that all the ladies that work there know us already. They spoil our boys and love to see them! =)

We got the usual, yellow chicken curry, chicken pad Thai and an order of spring rolls.
Oh and yes of course Ethan was third Wheeling.
After dinner, we went to the outlets and went into the Disney store. David knows how much I love it there for the boys. We bought them each a cute Toys Story shirt.
From there He literally had no idea on what to do so he stopped by one of our favorite dessert spots Rolling Pin for donuts and coffee. I love their glazed donuts but man, they're so rich and heavy one is more than enough.

We finished the night and picked up the boys early from church and headed home. They had their fun too! They were given pizza for dinner and they got to play games and watch a movie!

Ethan after a wild night out with mom and dad. haha

Saturday we woke up early for Levi's basketball game. It was the last game of the season! Man I'm so sad its already over but our little guy has gotten so good at basketball ! We're definitely proud of him and his love for sports and want to keep pursuing keeping him in sports while he's all about it!
It was a lot for our whole family but thankfully we were all in it together . We'd drive 45 min to practice every monday with all the kids. And same for every Saturday for the games. We'd wake up early and head out by 8am every Saturday to be at the game by 9.  We always had supporters for him watching along. His grandma was always there, my dad went once, Grandpa Ken went a few times and my cousin, their aunt and uncle were there a couple times too! It was fun!

This is his coach, he was such a sweet and caring coach!

We celebrated Levi's last game by taking him to Toppers Pizza. Yum!

From that we had agreed on a day of rest at home. Which meant catching up with yard work for David and cleaning inside for me. And laundry. Sometimes we need to plan to not plan so that we can truly enjoy our time together at home. We are usually on the go and visiting here and there but this was needed.

Twins! Ethan and Daddy's cheeks!

Also this filter makes me look freakish and like a fish. I did my MaryKate Smile hahaha

A picture I had sent to my mother in law. Which she didn't appreciate because she never responded to it lol

Cute fun badges David made for the boys while he was at work

My mom in law bought Ethan this little kickin tunes mat. He loves it!

So far it's been a good week. We were out most of the day today but are home now and waiting on Dad to get here. Hope you enjoyed catching up with our weekend and week!

Weekend Update Oct. 19-21 2018

Our weekend was a fun one! Started out pretty calm. On Friday my mom came over to hang out... or sleep and eat I should say.

I've been making these breakfast burritos lately. It's got potatoes, egg, cam, and shredded cheese. Sometimes I add avocado. So good and the boys love them!

Friday night nose picking and cuddles!

David worked for 4 hours on Saturday so I worked on a project outside and the boys played and got dirty. I was so happy to see the Fed Ex lady bring me a special package just for me! Thank you to my Mother in Law for spoiling me with awesome maternity clothes! I've literally been living in a couple of maternity jeans I have and David's basketball shorts!

Sporting my new pair of overalls! I love these so much! David got home and we went out for Jimmy Johns sandwiches. Having some fun with my boys!

While we were out, my neighbor called and last minute invited us over to celebrate their son's 7th birthday. They had a lot of family over and Pozole and delicious cake.

On Sunday, we stayed home and I kept working on my project and once noon hit we got ready to go to another birthday party that Noah had been invited to by a first grader at school! Noah was the only kindergartener that was invited, I was surprised! Guess that means he's cool enough to hang with the older kids! jk.

I was actually more surprised at how timid Noah was the whole time. He's usually so loud and spunky, seeing him that quiet was so different. It was so sweet seeing Noah and Levi stick together though. They played in the trampoline and ran around together. Benjamin was all over the place! He was definitely not shy in a new surrounding! So for things like this, David's running around chasing after Benjamin while I keep an eye on Noah and Levi, usually while sitting because heat and swelling is not fun while pregnant!

Also, Noah and photos don't happen a whole lot on command anymore... insert cry face!

Jackson (Noah's friend) had the coolest Jurassic theme birthday! His mom did an amazing job! She and a friend even made that sweet cake!

That's the Birthday boy!

Noah getting a slice of cake

Mr. Happy and Baby boy number 4

This...I love this picture of David handling both Ben and Levi! You're awesome babe !

It was a good family filled weekend. =)

Weekend Update

Friday
Wah! Baby boy is teething hard! 4 teefs at once = sad in pain baby!
 Saturday

On Saturday we cleaned cleaned cleaned. Took the boys to chick fil A for lunch and made a home depot stop, came back and had my dad visit on his way home from LAX. He went to Guatemala to visit family and came back with so many goodies for us. So happy he arrived home safely.

Levi received a special package! Underwear from grandma! He's potty training and doing such a great job!

Ben didn't want to let go of my dad. <3 td="">

We grilled some chicken for tacos . Oh and also grilled some corn. It was bomb!

Sunday

We went to church, got ready and David actually complimented my makeup. Not just "oh you look nice..." he actually said " I really like how your makeup looks!" cool. =)

At Church, I decided to leave Benjamin in the childcare for the second time ever. Well, take a look at the video above to find out how that went. It had only been 15 min in. I will definitely keep trying to leave him in there but I think It will be a while until he can actually stay in there the whole service.
Target run fun!

Stopped by at My mom in laws to celebrate her on her birthday!  We've made a tradition of always having her wear something on her birthday. Last year it was a birthday crown. This year we've added Pinapple sunglasses since her last name is PiÑa. She was super happy.

After visiting his mom, we went to a street fair/ car show and ate out of food trucks. Ummmm I thought food trucks were supposed to be cheap.... nope. Food was alright but litterally $40 for a burger, a sandwich and two small shaved ice cones... That's  a lot !

Dinner Sunday night.

Sleepy boy.

We've set up a crib in our room for Ben. We are now sleep training ... Mama is ready to get some rest. He's actually doing great. He wakes up 2-3 times a night, I feed him and he's back in his crib. I know to a lot of you that might seem like that's what New babies do, but this guy would wake up a lot more than that and I couldn't deal with getting out of bed and waiting for him to fall asleep again to put him back in his crib. So one year later we are ready.

That was our weekend!
