Fall Fun! (Catch up!)

It's fall! The air is crisp, the leaves are falling and the colors are changing! Kids are laughing, playing and it smells like pumpkin spice everywhere you go. This is my favorite. I absolutely love fall, mainly because it means we're closer to Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's and  Noah's birthday. I love how busy these couple of months are.

Speaking of busy, We sure have been "living it up" here with being busy! No, not really but life feels a lot busier with two babies! These past couple of weeks have been full of birthdays, pumpkin patches, and friend/family gatherings. It's been nice being with loved ones. So here are some pictures. I'll try not to write too much, I don't want this post to be dull.

Our good friends invited us to celebrate their son's first birthday. It was intimate and really special. I'm glad we could be there to enjoy the day with their family.

Evenings spent with more good friends walking on the pier and letting the kids play at the beach park. Not to mention, they also treated us to lunch at this cute little diner!

Evening strolls with the boys. Love it when he falls asleep on me =)

Pumpkin Patches

This past Friday Noah almost had his first sleep over at his cousin's house. We've been hesitant for a while because we know how difficult he can be during the night. But we figured kids act like angels when they're not being watched by their parents , so we let him go. Nope. We picked him up 9pm because he didn't want to sleep and he was crying. =( poor guy, he's still a baby. But he did have a lot of fun playing and doing crafts and bath time. I'm glad he had a great cousin day! Amber, thanks a mil, you are the sweetest!

Saturday, we woke up early, picked up David's brother and headed to their dad's house for his birthday. It was fun and I got to spend time with my first son, Cosby!

After the party, Amber invited us to a kid's activity for Halloween, and although we don't do anything for the day of, we thought this would be fun for our little guy. Unfortunately we didn't make it in time for the haunted trail with our sister, so sorry, but we did still enjoy some activities. Noah dressed like Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, but he did not like the sash on his head. hahaha he looks so cute!

October 2015 2 years and 9 months old.

Happy without the sash

Mason his cousin, was shaggy from scooby doo! His family dressed like the characters too! How fun!

Sunday, we enjoyed the day to relax. That evening we were invited by David's brother to come to his house to meet and see Bradley Hathaway preform! We've been listening to this guy's songs since we were teens! And he gave us a shout out and sang to us! I'm not going to lie, I might have shed a tear or two or 50! heehee.

Teaching our Noah to play! Thanks Bradley!
It was really a good past two weeks! We may not have a whole lot but we sure do have a lot of loving family and friends. I'm beginning to realize what God wants me to see is how blessed we truly are. And by that I don't mean financially, materialistically or any of that, but how blessed with love and support we are. We are spiritually Rich and that makes us happy and complete. =)

One Last hoorah for Summer!

Hello September! When'd you show up?! I'm pretty behind on vlogging and blogging. Basically, I just fail. No excuses. haha

So here are a few snippets from the last weekend in August which we spent at the beach and pool with friends and family!

I just love that my boys are total beach bums just like their momma! Levi is more like David right now, he doesn't like to get in the water, he'd rather just lay back and relax and enjoy the water from a distance and under some shade. Noah on the other hand, at 3 months he was in the water with me! Huge difference but I love that they are calmest at the beach.

Found this heart shaped rock and I thought of  David. Cheesy, I know but I thought it was cute. =)

This was the following day Saturday August 29th at the pool at our Sister's. I love this photo, Noah and Mason were having so much fun! They went on the donut with Amber and Noah insisted on bringing the semi truck in with them.. haha!

"ay ya yay"

"What up now mom?!"

BEST PICTURE EVER! PD:AMBER

Sunday we went for a drive to Santa Barbara. I just wanted to see the pretty views and walk around and than David insisted we keep driving, how could I say no to an adventure?! =) So we drove to Pismo. Stopped at the outlets to breastfeed and walk, and guess who we ran into?! Miss Maddie! (Noah's cousin and Sarah, Josh and little Chase!) It was the funniest most randomest thing! I loved it! Too bad it's hard to walk around and talk in a group of four kids and four adults. But it was still nice to spend a couple hours with family.
I didn't capture it, but Noah was in on the emoji face too! Hash tag fun family! jk

Than, we got hungry. So we kept driving, and ended up in San Luis Obispo! The man wanted mexican food so we went to Taco Roco, our favorite there and man did it live up to our needs! We than walked around and just enjoyed the day. My dad and family was actually out of town that weekend which sucks but we'll prob be over there very soon. We love it there!

Pretty sure my dad did that last time we took Noah to the gum wall.

COMPARE: Noah and Levi's first time at the GumWall

And that was that. It was fun. Its the simple things we do together that I enjoy the most. I love my family.

August Shennanigans (Photodump)

Oh my! Summer is almost over! Whyyyy?!

Blogging and vlogging has come to a short pause due to fun summer colds and mastitis ! ugh not again! I got it about two years ago, read about how I cured it naturally Here, but this time, I felt worst and I couldn't even hold my baby, I was in so much pain. So I went to the doctor, got antibiotics and it took care of it within a day! Thank God! The next day I took in baby Levi for a cough he's had for a week, and they told me not to worry that it wasn't in his lungs or anything so I'm glad it's pretty much gone now and he's himself.

I feel like August has been our most Fun filled month of this summer by far! These past few weekends have been a blast!

The first weekend of August we went to Santa Barbara to enjoy Fiestas! I love being there for the festivities! Brings back so many memories of when I used to be a part of it and dance in all the parades and shows!

I'm aware of how lame I look.Don't know how to selfie anymore! But look at my braid!

Yes David held a snake!

Yes my two year old did too! So brave!

SB view from up top!

daddy!

Definition of Fiestas on State st.

After SB we stopped at our favorite beach to beat the heat. Fun Fact: there are always swimsuits and towels in our car for such occasions. Beach bums.
oh me and my sissy!

A couple of weeks ago we went to Lancaster to visit David's family. We got to see the grandmas and they got to meet Levi! It was such a good family visit! It was also 106 degrees that weekend so we went over to David's uncle's house to cool off in their pool and I may or may not have enjoyed a margarita! ;) Delish! We also stayed the night at his cousin's house and oh my gosh that was fun! Sarah and I (david's cousin's wife) had our first born a couple of months apart and our second two weeks apart! So it's always fun seeing our babies play together when we visit! They have such a beautiful house with a gorgeous pool too!  I've said it before but seriously, they are the sweetest most humble family ever! HASHTAG : GOALS.

Cosby!

This past weekend, we were invited by David's ex work friends to join them and their families to go to Universal Studios! They didn't let us decline so we HAD to go. ;) We love this group of friends! The second time we all hung out, we were at our little apartment with all 8 of them and stayed up until 2 am just having fun and talking and joking around so we knew Universal would be fun! I'd say it was a good time (for having a two and a half year old and 2 month old) but it was very very hot and the waits for getting on any ride were very long. Two things that don't sit well with babies. So obviously we didn't get on a many rides and we did have to stop a few times to manage the babies but it was a lot of fun!

My Favorite Actress! Lucy!
Pretty sure they planned to match! haha

our handsome men!

"get me off of here mom! You're embarrassing me!" lol

He loved this ride!
oh and dinner pic because it was amazing!
Levi's first amusement park experience!
This month is flying by and I'm glad we've made the most of it ! Also, David and I celebrated 4 years of marriage this month but more on that in the next post!
