Oh my! Summer is almost over! Whyyyy?!

Blogging and vlogging has come to a short pause due to fun summer colds and mastitis ! ugh not again! I got it about two years ago, read about how I cured it naturally Here, but this time, I felt worst and I couldn't even hold my baby, I was in so much pain. So I went to the doctor, got antibiotics and it took care of it within a day! Thank God! The next day I took in baby Levi for a cough he's had for a week, and they told me not to worry that it wasn't in his lungs or anything so I'm glad it's pretty much gone now and he's himself.

I feel like August has been our most Fun filled month of this summer by far! These past few weekends have been a blast!

The first weekend of August we went to Santa Barbara to enjoy Fiestas! I love being there for the festivities! Brings back so many memories of when I used to be a part of it and dance in all the parades and shows!

I'm aware of how lame I look.Don't know how to selfie anymore! But look at my braid!

Definition of Fiestas on State st. 

After SB we stopped at our favorite beach to beat the heat. Fun Fact: there are always swimsuits and towels in our car for such occasions. Beach bums.

A couple of weeks ago we went to Lancaster to visit David's family. We got to see the grandmas and they got to meet Levi! It was such a good family visit! It was also 106 degrees that weekend so we went over to David's uncle's house to cool off in their pool and I may or may not have enjoyed a margarita! ;) Delish! We also stayed the night at his cousin's house and oh my gosh that was fun! Sarah and I (david's cousin's wife) had our first born a couple of months apart and our second two weeks apart! So it's always fun seeing our babies play together when we visit! They have such a beautiful house with a gorgeous pool too!  I've said it before but seriously, they are the sweetest most humble family ever! HASHTAG : GOALS.

This past weekend, we were invited by David's ex work friends to join them and their families to go to Universal Studios! They didn't let us decline so we HAD to go. ;) We love this group of friends! The second time we all hung out, we were at our little apartment with all 8 of them and stayed up until 2 am just having fun and talking and joking around so we knew Universal would be fun! I'd say it was a good time (for having a two and a half year old and 2 month old) but it was very very hot and the waits for getting on any ride were very long. Two things that don't sit well with babies. So obviously we didn't get on a many rides and we did have to stop a few times to manage the babies but it was a lot of fun!

This month is flying by and I'm glad we've made the most of it ! Also, David and I celebrated 4 years of marriage this month but more on that in the next post!

Beach Days 2015

As most of you know, I love the beach! I mean seriously LOVE 'the beach! So of course that's  what we've been up to! Thought I'd share some pictures and also our weekend video!

We're really hoping that Levi is as much of a water baby as Noah is! So far he likes being outside, so fingers crossed! Hope you're all enjoying your summer!

Summer Fun!

Last week I got to hang out with my best friend from High School and her kid. You may know her from blogging about our pregnancy and how we went into labor and had our boys the same night at the same hospital only hours apart! Well, this time with our second pregnancy she is 6 weeks behind me and since I already had my sweet boy, I'm spending time with her trying to get her mind off of the stresses of going into labor and just hanging out together to be girls.

We met up at The Collections in Oxnard, it's an outdoor mall with shops, restaurants and play areas for kids. They also have one of those floor water fountains, where the water pops up from different holes, and since it was hot out we decided to let our tiny tots run around and get wet! It was such a good time and I loved that they play so well together! Noah right away went in the water and played with all the other kids.

It was fun! I love summer days! After that, we went to the Habit for burgers and called it a day. =)

Summer Fun

Hey everyone!
This weekend was pretty fun for me! On Saturday I got a lot of cleaning done, I'm not just talking putting things away but deep cleaning, scrubbing the yuck marks from the carpet and bathtub! But man does it feel good to be in a clean home! After cleaning I met up with my mom and we decided to go to the Carpinteria Beach ( a small beautiful town before getting to Santa Barbara). That was a lot of fun! She took me in her Jeep with the top down and we got all the fresh air running through our hair! ha

The Beach was packed and so full of energy when we got there! I loved it! It was the perfect day to go!

It was great! After that we went to Ventura for dinner and ate at a delish Mexican restaurant . I loved their chips ohhh they were to die for!
On Sunday David came home from work, and we got ready and headed to church which was awesome as always. The music was extremely captivating and so joyous I loved it! It all sounds so much better in the new auditorium. After church we went to the in-law's and dropped Cosby off with Lucy and then headed for some lunch.

They treated us to a cute little cafe called Jessica's Cafe. They had some really tasty sandwiches! I got the Turkey Avocado with Curly Fries and David got the Tri-tip. So gooood! Noah Loved it!

We headed back to their house to relax a bit and they actually gave us an air conditioner which was soooo very needed since it's be so hot and humid these past few weeks in Fillmore!We are loving it! Our apartment is now somewhere we like to relax and enjoy a good movie which we did. We watched Horton Hears A Who that night and fell asleep at 5! hahaha we are old. Hey! I'm growing a child so I need as much rest as possible, don't know what David's excuse is hahaha.

On Monday we got up early and went for a walk. We had a lot of errands to run so I got dressed and ready and we were off. Here's what I wore

Anyways, I'm excited for these next few days/weeks! On Friday I want to take David to see Batman Darkknight Rises. He's been excited about this movie for a year! ha. And then in a week and a half the local Citrus Festival is here and I've been Dying to go since they have a ton of Hot air balloons everywhere that they light up at night and it looks so magical! I can't wait to snap away with my camera!

Hot air Balloons is totally David and my thing. He surprised me on my 20th birthday and took me up on one.  We both have tattoos with hot air balloons and we want to make it a tradition to go on one every year!

In August we plan on going to Santa Barbara and enjoying the Fiesta festivities which we do every year! I used to be a Flamenco Dancer and I used to perform every year during fiestas, did it for over 4 years!

This is my favorite thing to do during summer. Everything about Fiestas is so fun! Large crowds, confetti, awesome performances, carnivals everywhere! It's an awesome week long event! Of course I'll be taking photos as well.
